כִּ֠י בְּטֶ֨רֶם יֵדַ֥ע הַנַּ֛עַר מָאֹ֥ס בָּרָ֖ע וּבָחֹ֣ר בַּטּ֑וֹב תֵּעָזֵ֤ב הָאֲדָמָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַתָּ֣ה קָ֔ץ מִפְּנֵ֖י שְׁנֵ֥י מְלָכֶֽיהָ׃
Aber bevor der Knabe erkennen wird, das Böse zu verwerfen und das Gute zu wählen, wird entvölkert sein das Land, vor dessen zwei Königen dir graut.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
But before a child shall know to reject the evil and to choose the good, the land shall be laid desolate, on account of which thou art in a strait, because of these two kings.
