Targum zu Jeschijahu 13:11
וּפָקַדְתִּ֤י עַל־תֵּבֵל֙ רָעָ֔ה וְעַל־רְשָׁעִ֖ים עֲוֺנָ֑ם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ גְּא֣וֹן זֵדִ֔ים וְגַאֲוַ֥ת עָרִיצִ֖ים אַשְׁפִּֽיל׃
Ich ahnde an dem Erdball die Bosheit, [spricht der Herr], und an den Frevlern ihre Schuld: ich dämpfe den Hochmut der Trotzigen, und die Macht der Tyrannen stürze ich.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
And I will visit the inhabitants of the world with the punishment for evil, and the wicked for their iniquity: and I will put an end to the greatness of the wicked, and the strength of the mighty I will humble.
