הָכִ֧ינוּ לְבָנָ֛יו מַטְבֵּ֖חַ בַּעֲוֺ֣ן אֲבוֹתָ֑ם בַּל־יָקֻ֙מוּ֙ וְיָ֣רְשׁוּ אָ֔רֶץ וּמָלְא֥וּ פְנֵֽי־תֵבֵ֖ל עָרִֽים׃
Metzelt seine Söhne nieder wegen der Schuld ihrer Väter, dass sie nicht aufstehen und einnehmen das Land, wodurch die Welt sich füllte mit Unruhstiftern.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Prepare ye slaughter for his children, for the iniquity of their fathers; lest they rise and possess the earth, and the faces of the world be filled with enemies.
