חֹרֶ֥יהָ וְאֵֽין־שָׁ֖ם מְלוּכָ֣ה יִקְרָ֑אוּ וְכָל־שָׂרֶ֖יהָ יִ֥הְיוּ אָֽפֶס׃
Ihre Edeln werden das Königtum ausrufen, aber es hat keinen Bestand; all ihre Fürsten werden zu nichts.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
They said, we are the sons of free men, and they were not willing to accept over them a kingly government; and all her princes shall come to nothing
