וְיֹֽשְׁבֵיהֶן֙ קִצְרֵי־יָ֔ד חַ֖תּוּ וָבֹ֑שׁוּ הָי֞וּ עֵ֤שֶׂב שָׂדֶה֙ וִ֣ירַק דֶּ֔שֶׁא חֲצִ֣יר גַּגּ֔וֹת וּשְׁדֵמָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י קָמָֽה׃

Deren Bewohner werden machtlos, gebrochenen Mutes und zu Schanden; sie werden wie Kraut des Feldes und sprossendes Grün, Moos der Dächer, und brandig, bevor es zum Halm wird.

Targum Jonathan on Isaiah

Therefore their inhabitants had their strength cut off, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the fields, yea, as the green grass, as the herb on the housetops, as corn blasted before it becomes an ear of corn.
