כִּ֧י כָל־יָמָ֣יו מַכְאֹבִ֗ים וָכַ֙עַס֙ עִנְיָנ֔וֹ גַּם־בַּלַּ֖יְלָה לֹא־שָׁכַ֣ב לִבּ֑ו גַּם־זֶ֖ה הֶ֥בֶל הֽוּא׃
Dass all seine Tage Leiden waren und Gram sein Treiben, dass er auch in der Nacht keine Ruhe sich gab? Auch das ist also Eitelkeit.
Aramaic Targum to Ecclesiastes
For all his days are sorrowful, and his business kindles his anger, even in the night he sleeps not on account of the thoughts of his heart; this too is vanity.
