דָּבַ֨ק לְשׁ֥וֹן יוֹנֵ֛ק אֶל־חכּ֖וֹ בַּצָּמָ֑א עֽוֹלָלִים֙ שָׁ֣אֲלוּ לֶ֔חֶם פֹּרֵ֖שׂ אֵ֥ין לָהֶֽם׃ (ס)
Die Zunge des saugenden Kindes klammert sich vor Durst an das Dach seines Mundes; Die kleinen Kinder bitten um Brot, und niemand bricht es ihnen.

The tongue of the youth clings to his palate from thirst. Children ask for bread, but there is no one who offers it to them.
