וַיִּצְעַ֥ק הָעָ֖ם אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֤ל מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה וַתִּשְׁקַ֖ע הָאֵֽשׁ׃
Da schrie das Volk zu Mose; Mose betete zum Herrn, worauf das Feuer versank.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
And the people cried to Mosheh to pray for them; and Mosheh did pray before the Lord, and the fire was extinguished where it was.
