וְלֹא־הָ֥יָה מַ֖יִם לָעֵדָ֑ה וַיִּקָּ֣הֲל֔וּ עַל־מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְעַֽל־אַהֲרֹֽן׃
Es war kein Wasser da für die Gemeinde; da rotteten sie sich zusammen wider Mose und Aaron.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
And as on account of the innocency of Miriam a well had been given, so when she died the well was hidden, and the congregation had no water.
