וַיָּ֨גָר מוֹאָ֜ב מִפְּנֵ֥י הָעָ֛ם מְאֹ֖ד כִּ֣י רַב־ה֑וּא וַיָּ֣קָץ מוֹאָ֔ב מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Da fürchtete sich Moab sehr vor dem Volke, da es so groß war, und es grauete Moab vor den Kindern Israel.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
And the Moabaee feared before the people greatly because they were many, and they were distressed in their life before the sons of Israel.
