הִנֵּ֨ה עַל־הֶהָרִ֜ים רַגְלֵ֤י מְבַשֵּׂר֙ מַשְׁמִ֣יעַ שָׁל֔וֹם חָגִּ֧י יְהוּדָ֛ה חַגַּ֖יִךְ שַׁלְּמִ֣י נְדָרָ֑יִךְ כִּי֩ לֹ֨א יוֹסִ֥יף ע֛וֹד לעבור־[לַֽעֲבָר־] בָּ֥ךְ בְּלִיַּ֖עַל כֻּלֹּ֥ה נִכְרָֽת׃
Auf den Bergen sind die Tritte des Heilboten, der [Israel] Frieden verkündet. Feiere, Jehuda, deine Feste, erfülle deine Gelübde, denn der Ruchlose soll dich nicht mehr überziehen, er ist gänzlich ausgerottet.
Targum Jonathan on Nahum
Behold upon the mountains of the land of Israel [B. R. omits of the land] the feet of the bearer of glad tidings, the proclaimer of peace! Celebrate, O Judah, thy feasts, fulfil thy vows; because the wicked shall not pass over thee again. They are all cut off.
