שָׁ֚ם תֹּאכְלֵ֣ךְ אֵ֔שׁ תַּכְרִיתֵ֣ךְ חֶ֔רֶב תֹּאכְלֵ֖ךְ כַּיָּ֑לֶק הִתְכַּבֵּ֣ד כַּיֶּ֔לֶק הִֽתְכַּבְּדִ֖י כָּאַרְבֶּֽה׃
Aber bald wird dich das Feuer fressen, wird dich das Schwert vertilgen, es wird dich wegfressen wie der Käfer; magst du dich auch mehren wie die Käfer, dich mehren wie die Heuschrecken.
Targum Jonathan on Nahum
There the peoples that are strong shall come against thee as fire, those who kill by the sword shall consume thee. The armies of the peoples which are numerous as devouring locusts shall be assembled against thee.
