וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֔ה לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֛ה אַתֶּ֥ם עֹבְרִ֖ים אֶת־פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְהִ֖וא לֹ֥א תִצְלָֽח׃
Aber Mose sprach: Warum doch wollt ihr übertreten den Befehl des Herrn? Es wird doch nicht gelingen!
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
But Mosheh said, Why will you act against the decree of the Word of the Lord? But it will not prosper with you.
