וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ אִם־מָצָ֤אנוּ חֵן֙ בְּעֵינֶ֔יךָ יֻתַּ֞ן אֶת־הָאָ֧רֶץ הַזֹּ֛את לַעֲבָדֶ֖יךָ לַאֲחֻזָּ֑ה אַל־תַּעֲבִרֵ֖נוּ אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃
Sie sprachen [weiter]: Wenn wir Gnade gefunden in deinen Augen, werde dieses Land deinen Knechten gegeben zum Besitz, führe uns nicht über den Jordan.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
They said therefore, If we have found grace before thee, let this land be given to thy servants for a possession, and let us not pass over Jordan.
