וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֖יו לֹ֣א אֵלֵ֑ךְ כִּ֧י אִם־אֶל־אַרְצִ֛י וְאֶל־מוֹלַדְתִּ֖י אֵלֵֽךְ׃
Aber [Hobab] sprach zu ihm: Ich will nicht gehen, sondern in mein Land und nach meinem Geburtsort will ich zurückkehren.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
But he answered him, I will not go (with you) but to my (own) land and to my kindred will I go.
