וְאַל־תֵּ֤רֶא בְיוֹם־אָחִ֙יךָ֙ בְּי֣וֹם נָכְר֔וֹ וְאַל־תִּשְׂמַ֥ח לִבְנֵֽי־יְהוּדָ֖ה בְּי֣וֹם אָבְדָ֑ם וְאַל־תַּגְדֵּ֥ל פִּ֖יךָ בְּי֥וֹם צָרָֽה׃
Du hättest nicht ruhig mit ansehen sollen an dem Tage deines Bruders, am Tage seines Elends, und dich nicht freuen über die Söhne Jehuda am Tage ihres Untergangs, und nicht hochmütige Reden führen am Tage der Not.
Targum Jonathan on Obadiah
And that you watched on the day of your brother on the day of his destruction, and that you rejoiced over the children of Judah on the day of their destruction, and that you went on to speak boastfully in a time of trouble.
