וַתֹּ֥אמֶר נָעֳמִ֖י אֶל־ר֣וּת כַּלָּתָ֑הּ ט֣וֹב בִּתִּ֗י כִּ֤י תֵֽצְאִי֙ עִם־נַ֣עֲרוֹתָ֔יו וְלֹ֥א יִפְגְּעוּ־בָ֖ךְ בְּשָׂדֶ֥ה אַחֵֽר׃
Da sprach Naomi zu ihrer Schnur Ruth: Es ist gut, meine Tochter, dass du mit seinen Mägden ausgehst, man könnte dir übel begegnen in einem anderen Feld.
Aramaic Targum to Ruth
Then said Naomi to Ruth her daughter-in-law: "It is well, my daughter, that you should go out with his young women, so that they might not meet you in any other field."
