Tosefta zu Dewarim 13:78
Tosefta Horayot
A Sage takes precedence over the King of Israel. [If] a Sage dies, we have no one like him, but if the King of Israel dies, all of Israel is fit for kingship. The King takes precedence over the High Priest, as it is said (I Kings 1:33), "And the King (i.e., King David) said to them (i.e., the Zadok the High Priest, among others), 'Take with you the servants of your lord (referring to himself), and have Solomon my son ride on my mule." The High Priest has precedence over a prophet, as it is said (I Kings 1:34), "And let Zadok the [High] Priest and Nathan the Prophet anoint him (i.e., Solomon) there" -- Zadok was mentioned before Nathan. And it says (Zech. 3:8), "Hear now, Yehoshua the High Priest, you and your fellows (i.e., fellow priests) that sit before you. [For these are men of portent (mofet), that I will bring forth a shoot from My servant]." Can these be ordinary men? Thus, the Torah states that "these are men of portent," and there is no "portent" but a prophet, as it is said (Deut. 13:2, referring to a prophet): "And if he gave to you a sign or a portent (mofet)."

Tosefta Avodah Zarah
The one who sells his slave to an idolators fair, his money [that is, the money resulting from his sale] is prohibited and he must take it to the salt sea. They force his master to redeem him even for a hundred times the amount [for which the master had sold him], and then he sets him free. You find to say: the one who does business at an idolators fair: regarding a beast, it is hamstrung; clothing and vessels, they are left to rot; money and metal tools, one takes the benefit to the salt sea. Produce that is usually poured out is poured out, [that is usually] burnt is burnt, [that is usually] buried is buried. Rabbi Yosei says, one breaks idols and throws them into the wind or casts it into the sea. They said to him, it may even be made into manure, as it says, “Let nothing that has been doomed stick to your hand” (Deut 13:18). Rabbi Yosei said to them, it says, “As for that sinful thing you made . . . [I broke it to bits and ground it thoroughly until it was fine as dust, and I threw its dust into the brook that comes down from the mountain]” (Deut 9:21). They said to him, is that proof? [It has also been said,] “[He took the calf that they had made and burned it, he ground it to powder] and strewed it upon the water and made the Israelites drink it” (Exodus 32:20), teaching that he tested them the same way they test the suspected adulteress. Rabbi Yosei said to them, but it says, “They abandoned their idols there” (II Sam 5:21) and “He also deposed his mother Maakhah from the position of queen mother because had made an abominable thing [for Asherah].” (I Kings 15:13). They said to him: Is there any proof from there? “Asa cut down her abominable thing [and burnt it in Wadi Qidron]” (II Kings 15:13). Rabbi Yosei said to them, but it says, “He broke into pieces the bronze serpent” (II Kings 18:4). They said to him, was this an idol? Didn’t Moses make it? This teaches that Israel went astray after it until Chizqiyah and his son came.

Tosefta Peah
Said Rabbi Yehoshuah ben Karha, "From where [do we learn] that everyone that turns his eyes away from [one seeking] charity is considered as if he worships idols (see Bava Batra 10a:10)? As it is written (Deut. 15:9), 'Beware that there be not a base thought in your heart... [and your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing].' And moreover it states (Deut. 13:14), 'Certain base men have gone out […and have drawn away the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods].' Just as there, [the base men sin with] idolatry, so too here, [the base thought is treated like] idolatry" (Bava Batra 10a:10, following Steinsaltz).

Tosefta Avodah Zarah
The one who enters under [the asherah] is like one who entered a house of idolatry. If a public thoroughfare cuts through it, it is permitted. A Jew who trims an asherah: if for [the tree’s] benefit, it is prohibited; if for [the Jew’s] benefit, it is permitted; if for the benefit of both, it is prohibited. A person shouldn’t go up to the top of a pedestal even to disfigure it or to soil it because, as it says, “Let nothing that has been doomed stick to your hand” (Deut 13:18). A person should not say to his fellow, “Wait for me next to so-and-so’s idol” or “I will wait for you next to so-and-so’s idol,” as it says, “Make no mention of the names of other gods[, they shall not be heard on your lips” (Ex 23:13).

Tosefta Sanhedrin
A beguiled city has never existed and never will. Rather, it is written about in order to say "examine and take a reward." Rabbi Shimon bar Rabbi Elazar says we don't make three beguiled cities in the Land of Israel, but we do make one or two. Rabbi Shimon says we don't even make two, rather only one in Judea and one in the Galilee. Nearby in the book, we don't even make one, in order that gentiles won't disperse and destroy the Land of Israel. The city is permitted if they spend thirty days in the swords and basins, and the city is forbidden. They did not spend thirty days in swords and basins, and the city is permitted to the world to wash them with stoning and bazan, and the city is forbidden to dispose of them. Women, and not small or large people, may be a city that is rejected (Deuteronomy 13:14), the inhabitants of their city after the inhabitants of their city. This is a move. After all this, even converts can be gathered into it, and the freed slaves shall become a city that is rejected by the Talmud, to say (there) the inhabitants of their city after the inhabitants of their city. (Deuteronomy 18: 9), and He gave you mercy and mercy and mercy. If you feel sorry for the great ones, it is already said (Deuteronomy 16: 5): "Strike if you feel sorry for your death." According to the sword, what shall I keep? And I will give you these little riches in which Rabbi Eliezer says, Even great men shall not be killed except according to witnesses, and I will see what I am doing, and give you mercy. And I will love them in their hearts, which means that we have no truth in their hearts, and you do not complain, but rather onenin that there is no selfishness, but in the heart of the assets of the righteous in which the Avdin Rabbi Eliezer says, "Mochiach says concerning Lot, who was not in Sodom, but because of his possessions. He also went out with his hands on his head as it is stated:" From Hamlet, you have put enough to save your soul. "Rabbi Shimon said: Because of what the assets of the righteous in which Ovedine said, because they caused the righteous to live among the wicked, and things are light and warm What if no assets other than heroin and Shumaen not talking about the generation that made righteous wicked Scripture said his fellow staff burn way of life through the die Aac"o having to fire.
