Commentary for Ezekiel 20:29

וָאֹמַ֣ר אֲלֵהֶ֔ם מָ֣ה הַבָּמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּ֥ם הַבָּאִ֖ים שָׁ֑ם וַיִּקָּרֵ֤א שְׁמָהּ֙ בָּמָ֔ה עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

Then I said unto them: What meaneth the high place whereunto ye go? So the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.

So its name was called Bamah A pejorative: i.e., of what (בַּמֶה) importance is it?
