Commentary for Ezekiel 40:31
וְאֵלַמָּ֗ו אֶל־חָצֵר֙ הַחִ֣צוֹנָ֔ה וְתִמֹרִ֖ים אֶל־אילו [אֵילָ֑יו] וּמַעֲל֥וֹת שְׁמוֹנֶ֖ה מעלו [מַעֲלָֽיו׃]
And the arches thereof were toward the outer court; and palm-trees were upon the posts thereof; and the going up to it had eight steps.
Rashi on Ezekiel
And its halls to the Outer Court The halls of the Inner Gate were not toward the inner side as were the halls of the Outer Gate, but were protruding outward.
