Commentary for Job 33:8

אַ֭ךְ אָמַ֣רְתָּ בְאָזְנָ֑י וְק֖וֹל מִלִּ֣ין אֶשְׁמָֽע׃

Surely thou hast spoken in my hearing, And I have heard the voice of thy words;

As is the custom of lawyers, Elihu opens his own argument by summarizing Job’s case against God.
