Commentary for Isaiah 14:27

כִּֽי־יְהוָ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת יָעָ֖ץ וּמִ֣י יָפֵ֑ר וְיָד֥וֹ הַנְּטוּיָ֖ה וּֽמִ֥י יְשִׁיבֶֽנָּה׃ (פ)

For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, And who shall disannul it? And His hand is stretched out, And who shall turn it back?

For the Lord of hosts, etc. Since the Lord has decreed, who can annul it.
