וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֵלַ֔י צִדְּקָ֥ה נַפְשָׁ֖הּ מְשֻׁבָ֣ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מִבֹּגֵדָ֖ה יְהוּדָֽה׃
even the LORD said unto me—backsliding Israel hath proved herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.

has proved herself more righteous She has been cleared and she has freed herself from an unfavorable verdict, for she had no one to learn from.
