Commentary for Jeremiah 39:6

וַיִּשְׁחַט֩ מֶ֨לֶךְ בָּבֶ֜ל אֶת־בְּנֵ֧י צִדְקִיָּ֛הוּ בְּרִבְלָ֖ה לְעֵינָ֑יו וְאֵת֙ כָּל־חֹרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה שָׁחַ֖ט מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃

Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes;

and...all the nobles of Judah These are the Sanhedrin, because they had annulled the oath.
