עִרְכ֤וּ מָגֵן֙ וְצִנָּ֔ה וּגְשׁ֖וּ לַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃
Make ready buckler and shield, And draw near to battle.

shield Heb. מגן. It is made of leather, and it is boiled, and when he goes forth to battle, he anoints it with oil.
