Commentary for Jeremiah 49:15
כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֥ה קָטֹ֛ן נְתַתִּ֖יךָ בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם בָּז֖וּי בָּאָדָֽם׃
For, behold, I make thee small among the nations, And despised among men.
Rashi on Jeremiah
I have made you small For they have no king who is the son of a king. It was not their custom to set up a king the son of a king.
