אַל־תצאי [תֵּֽצְאוּ֙] הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה וּבַדֶּ֖רֶךְ אַל־תלכי [תֵּלֵ֑כוּ] כִּ֚י חֶ֣רֶב לְאֹיֵ֔ב מָג֖וֹר מִסָּבִֽיב׃
Go not forth into the field, Nor walk by the way; For there is the sword of the enemy, And terror on every side.
Rashi on Jeremiah
there is fear Heb. מגור. Another explanation: An expression of gathering. Comp. (Ezekiel 21: 17) “Gathered (מגורי) to the sword.” And in this manner Jonathan renders it.
