Commentary for Job 14:22

אַךְ־בְּ֭שָׂרוֹ עָלָ֣יו יִכְאָ֑ב וְ֝נַפְשׁ֗וֹ עָלָ֥יו תֶּאֱבָֽל׃ (פ)

But his flesh grieveth for him, And his soul mourneth over him.

But his flesh causes him pain A worm is as painful to the dead as a needle in the flesh of the living.
