Commentary for Joshua 5:8

וַיְהִ֛י כַּאֲשֶׁר־תַּ֥מּוּ כָל־הַגּ֖וֹי לְהִמּ֑וֹל וַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ תַחְתָּ֛ם בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה עַ֥ד חֲיוֹתָֽם׃ (פ)

And it came to pass, when all the nation were circumcised, every one of them, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole.

They remained in their places. They remained in their places and they did not besiege the city.
