Commentary for Joshua 2:17

וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ אֵלֶ֖יהָ הָאֲנָשִׁ֑ים נְקִיִּ֣ם אֲנַ֔חְנוּ מִשְּׁבֻעָתֵ֥ךְ הַזֶּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִשְׁבַּעְתָּֽנוּ׃

And the men said unto her: ‘We will be guiltless of this thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

We will be free. We are holding you responsible for this, we depend on you to make this sign.
