Commentary for Judges 20:44

וַֽיִּפְּלוּ֙ מִבִּנְיָמִ֔ן שְׁמֹנָֽה־עָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֖לֶף אִ֑ישׁ אֶת־כָּל־אֵ֖לֶּה אַנְשֵׁי־חָֽיִל׃

And there fell of Benjamin eighteen thousand men; all these were men of valour.

There fell, from Binyomin, eighteen thousand troops In the field, in the thick of battle.
