Commentary for Nehemiah 2:15

וָאֱהִ֨י עֹלֶ֤ה בַנַּ֙חַל֙ לַ֔יְלָה וָאֱהִ֥י שֹׂבֵ֖ר בַּחוֹמָ֑ה וָאָשׁ֗וּב וָאָב֛וֹא בְּשַׁ֥עַר הַגַּ֖יְא וָאָשֽׁוּב׃

Then went I up in the night in the valley, and viewed the wall; and I turned back, and entered by the valley gate, and so returned.

And I ascended And I was ascending from one side at night, and I was breaking the wall with the men who were with me.
