Commentary for Proverbs 16:5

תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְ֭הוָה כָּל־גְּבַהּ־לֵ֑ב יָ֥ד לְ֝יָ֗ד לֹ֣א יִנָּקֶֽה׃

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; My hand upon it! he shall not be unpunished.

hand to hand he will not go unpunished From hand to hand the punishment for his haughtiness will come to him.
