Commentary for Proverbs 20:4
מֵ֭חֹרֶף עָצֵ֣ל לֹא־יַחֲרֹ֑שׁ ישאל [וְשָׁאַ֖ל] בַּקָּצִ֣יר וָאָֽיִן׃
The sluggard will not plow when winter setteth in; therefore he shall beg in harvest, and have nothing.

Because of the winter, a lazy man does not plow Because of the cold, a lazy man sits and does no work, neither does he engage in Torah.
