Commentary for Proverbs 24:22

כִּֽי־פִ֭תְאֹם יָק֣וּם אֵידָ֑ם וּפִ֥יד שְׁ֝נֵיהֶ֗ם מִ֣י יוֹדֵֽעַ׃ (ס)

For their calamity shall rise suddenly; And who knoweth the ruin from them both?

and the ruin of both of them The ruin of the idol and the ruin of its worshippers.
