Commentary for Psalms 78:7

וְיָשִׂ֥ימוּ בֵֽאלֹהִ֗ים כִּ֫סְלָ֥ם וְלֹ֣א יִ֭שְׁכְּחוּ מַֽעַלְלֵי־אֵ֑ל וּמִצְוֺתָ֥יו יִנְצֹֽרוּ׃

That they might put their confidence in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments;

their hope Heb. כסלם, their hope, and so (Job 31:24): “If I made gold my hope (כסלי).”
