Commentary for Psalms 117:2

כִּ֥י גָ֘בַ֤ר עָלֵ֨ינוּ ׀ חַסְדּ֗וֹ וֶֽאֱמֶת־יְהוָ֥ה לְעוֹלָ֗ם הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃

For His mercy is great toward us; And the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Hallelujah.

For His kindness has overwhelmed us That is to say: and surely we [must praise Him], for His kindness has overwhelmed us.
