Commentary for Psalms 86:14

אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ זֵ֘דִ֤ים קָֽמוּ־עָלַ֗י וַעֲדַ֣ת עָ֭רִיצִים בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑י וְלֹ֖א שָׂמ֣וּךָ לְנֶגְדָּֽם׃

O God, the proud are risen up against me, And the company of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set Thee before them.

willful transgressors have risen against me Doeg and Ahithophel.
