Commentary for Psalms 124:3

אֲ֭זַי חַיִּ֣ים בְּלָע֑וּנוּ בַּחֲר֖וֹת אַפָּ֣ם בָּֽנוּ׃

Then they had swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;

when their anger was kindled against us Heb. בחרות, “when their anger was kindled against us,” is the same form as בעשות, “when he made.”
