Commentary for Psalms 51:18

כִּ֤י ׀ לֹא־תַחְפֹּ֣ץ זֶ֣בַח וְאֶתֵּ֑נָה ע֝וֹלָ֗ה לֹ֣א תִרְצֶֽה׃

For Thou delightest not in sacrifice, else would I give it; Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.

For You do not wish a sacrifice Because a sacrifice of a sin offering is not brought for a willful transgression.
