Liturgy for Genesis 31:40
הָיִ֧יתִי בַיּ֛וֹם אֲכָלַ֥נִי חֹ֖רֶב וְקֶ֣רַח בַּלָּ֑יְלָה וַתִּדַּ֥ד שְׁנָתִ֖י מֵֽעֵינָֽי׃
Thus I was: in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep fled from mine eyes.

I have been disappointed28“כָּלוּ עֵינַי“—lit. My eyes have have failed. and there is not a word in my mouth.29I.e. I cannot utter a word due to great anguish. See!
