חַטָּאתִ֨י אוֹדִ֪יעֲךָ֡ וַעֲוֺ֘נִ֤י לֹֽא־כִסִּ֗יתִי אָמַ֗רְתִּי אוֹדֶ֤ה עֲלֵ֣י פְ֭שָׁעַי לַיהוָ֑ה וְאַתָּ֨ה נָ֘שָׂ֤אתָ עֲוֺ֖ן חַטָּאתִ֣י סֶֽלָה׃

I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid; I said: 'I will make confession concerning my transgressions unto the LORD' — And Thou, Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah

I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hid. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; and You did forgive the iniquity of my sin. Selah. (Psalms 32:5) He who covers up his faults will not succeed; but he who confesses and gives [them] up will find mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)
