Musar for Genesis 38:2

וַיַּרְא־שָׁ֧ם יְהוּדָ֛ה בַּת־אִ֥ישׁ כְּנַעֲנִ֖י וּשְׁמ֣וֹ שׁ֑וּעַ וַיִּקָּחֶ֖הָ וַיָּבֹ֥א אֵלֶֽיהָ׃

And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite whose name was Shua; and he took her, and went in unto her.

וירא שם יודא בת איש כנעני . From this verse, our sages in Kidushin 41 derive the rule that one must not marry a woman until one has seen her.
