וְהַצְּלָעוֹת֩ צֵלָ֨ע אֶל־צֵלָ֜ע שָׁל֧וֹשׁ וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים פְּעָמִ֗ים וּ֠בָאוֹת בַּקִּ֨יר אֲשֶׁר־לַבַּ֧יִת לַצְּלָע֛וֹת סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִ֖יב לִהְי֣וֹת אֲחוּזִ֑ים וְלֹֽא־יִהְי֥וּ אֲחוּזִ֖ים בְּקִ֥יר הַבָּֽיִת׃
And the side-chambers were one over another, three and thirty times; and there were cornices in the wall which belonged to the house for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold therein, and not have hold in the wall of the house.

Et l’édifice s’élargissait en tournant, à mesure que s’élevaient les chambres latérales; car il régnait une galerie, montant par degrés tout autour de l’édifice; aussi l’édifice s’élargissait-il en haut, et ainsi du rez-de-chaussée on montait à l’étage supérieur par celui du milieu.
