וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מומכן [מְמוּכָ֗ן] לִפְנֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ וְהַשָּׂרִ֔ים לֹ֤א עַל־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ לְבַדּ֔וֹ עָוְתָ֖ה וַשְׁתִּ֣י הַמַּלְכָּ֑ה כִּ֤י עַל־כָּל־הַשָּׂרִים֙ וְעַל־כָּל־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֕ר בְּכָל־מְדִינ֖וֹת הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרֽוֹשׁ׃
Y Memucán respondió delante del rey y los príncipes: 'La reina Vasti no ha hecho mal al rey solamente, sino también a todos los príncipes y a todos los pueblos que están en todas las provincias del rey Asuero.
Rashi on Esther
Has aggrieved. An expression of iniquity [עָוֹן].29From the root עוה. However, according to the Ibn Ezra the root is עות meaning to act perversely.
