Pensamiento judío sobre Cantar de los Cantares 8:2

Let us show them the path, the entrance to the city, so they can find the opening. Let themknow that what they are seeking to be found on the border of Israel. אֲחַזְתִּיו֙ וְלֹ֣א אַרְפֶּ֔נּוּ עַד־שֶׁ֤הֲבֵיאתִיו֙ אֶל־בֵּ֣ית אִמִּ֔י וְאֶל־חֶ֖דֶר הוֹרָתִֽי "I held him fast, I would not let him go, Till I brought him to my mother’s house,To the chamber of her who conceived me” (Song of Songs, 3, 4) "אנהגך אביאך אל בית אמי תלמדני, אשקך מיין הרקח מעסיס רמוני".“I would lead you, I would bring you. To the house of my mother, Of her who taught me—I would let you drink of the spiced wine,Of my pomegranate juice.”(Song of Songs, 8,2) We will not deprive them of all of the light and good, all that shine and power they gained. We will instead add to them, shine on them a light of life, of truth that shines from the source of the Israeli soul and our children will gaze at it and flock around it.
