Por mí hice juramento, de mi boca salió palabra en justicia, y no será revocada. Que á mí se doblará toda rodilla, jurará toda lengua.
Sefer HaBahir
[Rabbi Berechiah continued,] "And what is the proof that this 'b'rachah' is from the word 'blessing' [baruch]? Perhaps it is from the language of [the word] 'knee' [berech]. As it is written, 'For to Me every knee will bend' (Isaiah 45:23). [God is] the Place [towards which] all knees bend. To what parable is this similar? To people who seek to see the face of the king, but do not know where His house is. First, they ask, 'Where is the house of the king?', and afterward [they can ask], 'Where is the king?' Therefore [it is written], 'For to Me every knee will bend' — even the highest ones — 'Every tongue will swear [loyalty to God]' (Isaiah 45:23)."

The matter of the blessings that involve prostration and submission-Modim-מודים are likewise affixed in this place, as hinted in the verse,75Isaiah 45:23 “To Me every knee shall bend.” This also is the matter of the blessing of submission-Modim-מודים instituted by our sages, of blessed memory, which also is affixed to this place. For, the combined qualities of HaShem God of Hosts-HaShem Elohi”m Tzva’ot-יהו״ה אלהי״ם צבאו״ת, are the matter of the qualities of “Torah scholars-Talmidei Chachamim-תלמידי חכמים, who increase peace in the world.”76Talmud Bavli, Brachot 64a This secret is revealed to those who know the hidden wisdom of grace-חן,77Grace-ח"ן is an acronym for the Hidden Wisdom-חכמה נסתרת for they are the ones who increase peace-Shalom-שלום in the world. In this vein, the verse states,78Zachariah 8:12 “The seed of peace-Zera HaShalom-זרע השלום: the vine gives forth its fruit, the land gives forth its produce, and the heavens give forth their dew.” As you already know, the verse,79Psalms 133:3 “The dew of Hermon descends upon the mountains of Zion-Harerei Tziyon-הררי ציון,” refers to HaShem’s-יהו"ה Divine qualities of victory-Netzach and majesty-Hod. Thus, being that they are the place of submission and thanks-Hoda’ot-הודאות, and since they are the matter of the verse, “To Me every knee shall bend,” our sages, of blessed memory, stated80Talmud Bavli, Brachot 34b that when reciting the blessing of “submission-Modim-מודים,” a person must bow. All blessings that come into the world, come through these two Divine qualities.
