Midrash sobre Exodo 24:8
וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת־הַדָּ֔ם וַיִּזְרֹ֖ק עַל־הָעָ֑ם וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הִנֵּ֤ה דַֽם־הַבְּרִית֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר כָּרַ֤ת יְהוָה֙ עִמָּכֶ֔ם עַ֥ל כָּל־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
Entonces Moisés tomó la sangre, y roció sobre el pueblo, y dijo: He aquí la sangre de la alianza que SEÑOR ha hecho con vosotros sobre todas estas cosas.

Gemara Rabbi says: Circumcision is so important that it equals all the commandments of the Torah, as it is said (Ex. 24, 8) Behold the blood of the covenant [brith,] which the Lord has made yith you concerning all these words."
