וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד אֶל־אָרְנָ֗ן תְּנָה־לִּי֙ מְק֣וֹם הַגֹּ֔רֶן וְאֶבְנֶה־בּ֥וֹ מִזְבֵּ֖חַ לַיהוָ֑ה בְּכֶ֤סֶף מָלֵא֙ תְּנֵ֣הוּ לִ֔י וְתֵעָצַ֥ר הַמַּגֵּפָ֖ה מֵעַ֥ל הָעָֽם׃
Entonces dijo David á Ornán: Dame este lugar de la era, en que edifique un altar á SEÑOR, y dámelo por su cabal precio, para que cese la plaga del pueblo.

Aravnoh said, "Why is my master the king coming to his servant?" Dovid said, "To buy the threshing floor from you [in order] to build an altar to Adonoy [so that] the plague among the people should cease.
