Y el fuerte será como estopa, y lo que hizo como centella; y ambos serán encendidos juntamente, y no habrá quien apague.
Jerusalem Talmud Shabbat
“Nor with raw flax,” Rebbi Ḥinena in the name of Rebbi Phineas, flax which was not cleansed, as you say, the uncleaned flax will be tinder33Is. 1:31. The usual translation is: the treasure will become tinder..
Shabbat
:And not with chosen: R' Yosef says... [chosen is] n'oret of the flax. ... Abaye replies ... "but it is written (Isaiah 1:31) 'and the chason will become n'oret'". (That implies that chosen is not yet n'oret.) ... Rather Abaye says ... [chosen is] flax that is beaten but not combed.
